Crockett Elementary ‘s staff strives to be the best. Our staff exceeds in all they do to enrich the students and maintain a safe, respectable, and responsible school environment for all that attend. We put the students first and leave no child behind, which is evident with the recent nomination by Texas’s Chief State School Officer to the No Child Left Behind-Blue Ribbon School Program. The U.S. Secretary of Education Rod Paige established this prestigious award to recognize elementary and secondary schools in the United States that make notable progress in closing the achievement gap. Twenty-six schools out of all elementary and secondary campuses both public and private were nominated in Texas. We have been nominated as one of those schools.
