District COVID-19 Dashboard

Full Width School related picture

Crockett ISD has launched a COVID-19 dashboard to further transparency and share active, positive COVID-19 cases on our campuses. While we will continue to send notifications to individual campuses when there is a lab-confirmed positive case, we will update the dashboard for all campuses and the district daily. Positive cases reported after 5pm will be reflected the following day.

A positive case indicates a staff member or student who was onsite in a district facility has tested positive for COVID-19. Individuals who test positive are excluded from participation in any in-person/on-campus activity until the District’s nurse or personal medical provider verifies the individual meets the return-to-school criteria set by local and state health authorities. Once the individual is cleared to return, their case is removed from the dashboard.

We are only reporting active cases of students or staff who were onsite; this includes students who may only be on-campus for athletics or extra-curricular activities.

Lab-confirmed Positive Case:

An individual who receives a positive test result

Experiencing COVID-19 Related Symptoms or Close Contact with a lab-confirmed case:

Any of the following symptoms indicate a possible COVID-19 infection:

  • Feeling feverish or a measured temperature greater than or equal to 100.0 degrees F
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • Cough, Difficulty breathing or Shortness of breath
  • Fatigue
  • Headache
  • Chills
  • Sore throat, Congestion or runny nose
  • Shaking or exaggerated shivering
  • Significant muscle pain or ache
  • Diarrhea, Nausea or vomiting

Close Contact Definition determined by TEA:

  1. Being directly exposed to infectious secretions (e.g., being coughed on); or
  2. Being within 6 feet for a cumulative duration of 15 minutes; however, additional factors like case/contact masking (i.e., both the infectious individual and the potential close contact have been consistently and properly masked), ventilation, presence of dividers, and case symptomology may affect this determination.
