The Crockett FFA Buyers Group's hamburger plate sales were a tremendous success! A heartfelt thank you goes out to the FFA students, Dr. Abbs, our new Superintendent Mr. Miller, along with Mr. Bowman, Mr. Wilder, Ms. Morrison, Ms. Whitley, and Mr. Wilson for all their dedicated efforts in making this event a triumph.
We also extend our gratitude to Whataburger, Texas Burger and Rebecca Casas for their generous donations.
Crockett High School Cosmetology 1 students demonstrated applying permanent wave solution, and neutralizer today.
Due to extreme caution, Early Childhood , Elementary and Jr. High campuses were on lock out mode, which means no guests were allowed on campuses, due to noise heard in a nearby residential neighborhood.
Crockett ISD PD and Crockett PD have investigated and it was a car backfiring, therefore they have given us the all clear and campuses are now accepting guests again.
Crockett FFA will be having an Chapter Meeting March 26, 2025 at 4:30PM.
Crockett FFA ag mechanics students participated in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo! Our students exhibited two trailers and a floral design table.

Congratulations to Alex Ledesma for securing a spot in the top 20 at the Powerlifting State meet, finishing in 19th place! He achieved his highest total to date, lifting an impressive 720 pounds, and stood out as one of the youngest competitors in his weight class. Great job, Alex! Crockett ISD is incredibly proud of your successful year!

Crockett High School Boys & Girls Track will be competing in the District Meet on March 24 & 26, 2025.
Mrs. Sample’s Introduction to Culinary class had a fantastic time with their Cajun Chicken and Sausage Pasta lab this week. Well done, students!
The Crockett FFA Ag Mechanics team traveled to Houston Livestock Show Thursday night with a 20 foot bumper pull lowboy utility trailer a 25 foot goose neck dovetail trailer and a floral table. These students have worked many, many hours to complete these projects and will compete Friday and Saturday in Houston. We are very proud of you. Stay tuned in on Sunday for results.

Crockett High School is thrilled to host a STAAR Informational Night for students and parents on March 31, 2025, at 5:30 PM. During this event, valuable information will be shared regarding the STAAR assessment, along with guidance on how parents can support their children at home. This event is for High School students and their parents only.
Crockett Early Childhood will be having Spring Picture Day, April 9, 2025.

As graduation is approaching, I wanted to get the word out that we are compiling a senior picture montage to show at the Senior Banquet. Every senior is encouraged to submit baby pictures, pictures from elementary school/junior high school, and some high school photos. Each student is allowed to put 6 pictures in this slideshow, which is being created to honor you guys!
Ms. Spanihel, the yearbook sponsor, is in charge of creating our montage, so all pictures should be submitted to her. You can send her digital copies of your pictures via email, or you can bring paper copies that she can scan into her computer and then return the originals to you. The deadline to submit photos is May 1st.
