Hi! My name is Chelsea Ginsel, and I am excited to be joining the Crockett Elementary team this year! This will be my 8th year of teaching elementary students. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin with both my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and Master of Education in Elementary Education. I am originally from Lufkin but am moving back to the area from Katy, Tx. My husband, Chad, and I have just welcomed our precious son, Judah, into our family. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone and serving this wonderful community. I am proud to be part of your bulldog family!

Hi my name is Janice Parker, and I became a certified (EC-6th) teacher in 2018. This will be my 8th year in elementary education. I received my masters degree in Special Education in May 2025. I have three children, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.


Crockett ISD welcomes Scott Lane to Crockett Early Childhood.
Scott Lane has 5 years of teaching experience and a certification in History. Mr. Lane will also be our High School Boys Track and Assistant Powerlifting coach.

Crockett ISD is pleased to announce that Aaron Taylor has joined Crockett High School. Mr. Taylor brings with him 7 years if teaching experience and holds certifications in Social Studies and Special Education. Additionally he possesses a Master's Degree. He is eager to become a valuable member of the Bulldog Team.


Crockett ISD welcomes Deborah Sanchez to Crockett Elementary.
Deborah Sanchez grew up in Irving, Texas and graduated from the University of North Texas. She has taught grades K-2 in several districts in North Texas, Central Texas, and East Texas in her 33 year career. Mrs. Sanchez's husband of 36 years, Simon, and they have 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her family and their three dogs on their farm in Buffalo.

Madelyn Conner is a dedicated 2nd grade teacher with a true passion for nurturing young minds. A proud graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a degree in Education, she brings six years of experience in education and a deep commitment to student growth and success. Madelyn is thrilled to join the Bulldog family and continue making a difference in the lives of her learners every day.

My name is Kelly Curtis. I am excited to be teaching in Crockett ISD this year. I have been teaching 8 years. I have taught 1st grade for 6 years and pre-k for 2 years. I graduated from Sam Houston University.

Crockett ISD is excited to share that Susan Ballard has joined the Crockett High School team. With seven years of teaching experience and certification in Mathematics, Ms. Ballard brings valuable expertise. Additionally, her service in the Armed Forces assures us that she will be a remarkable asset to our Bulldog Team.


Crockett ISD welcomes Amber Burgess to Crockett Elementary.
Hi! My name is Amber Burgess. I am a graduate of the University of Houston and have been teaching for many years. I've been married for 28 years to my husband, Scott. We have a son who lives and works in West Texas, and our daughter is a Sophomore at Texas A & M University. We just moved to the area from Katy, and are excited about our future here. I enjoy a good Bible study, traveling, cooking, shopping, singing, being with friends and family, and playing with my grand-dog, Maybel. I'm so excited to be a part of the Crockett ISD team and I'm looking forward to a great year.


Crockett FFA had leaders of the Bulldog Rabbitry program; Hannah Bertrand, Kasey Braun, Amaya Henderson, Lucy Seeley attend a rabbit workshop today at Tarleton State University. The workshop was hosted by Fort Worths Finest Rabbitry. At the workshop students were able to gain hands on experiences working with rabbits, learning about rabbit husbandry and how properly identify different breed characteristics. Students were also able to work with leaders in the rabbit industry and gain connections all across the state.





Crockett Military Drum Majors are focused on sharpening their fundamentals and bringing home the energy learned this week at SFA Military Drum Major Camp.
Crockett drum majors and field captains are growing into the leaders the CHS band will look to — learning not just the skills, but the mindset it takes to lead with confidence and purpose. Ready to lead Bulldog band with discipline and pride.

Crockett High School Cheerleaders are hosting a Mini Cheer Camp, July 28 - 30, 2025. The cost is $30 a child, $25 for siblings. The event is at the Crockett Admin Gym from 9am - 1pm.


Crockett High School Cheerleaders are hosting a BBQ and Bake Sale this Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the Houston County Track Meet, Driskell Stadium.
Come out and support CHS Cheerleaders.
