
The lady bulldog basketball team will play East Bernard in the first round of the state basketball playoffs at 6:00 pm, on Tuesday, February 13th, at Conroe Oakridge High School. To allow all our Bulldog fans to attend the game the boys games scheduled for that day at New Waverly will now take place on Monday, February 12.

Attention High School Parents, Staff and Visitors,
The staff parking lot will be closed starting Monday, Feb. the 12th. Until further notice, all staff and visitors will need to park in the student parking lot. Parents will need to drop off and pick up their students in the student parking lot as well. To make sure that all buses are able to unload and load safely and quickly, we ask that you not drop off or pick up your student in the bus lane. We will have a staff member stationed in the parking lot area to make sure students can safely walk across the bus lane. We apologize for this inconvenience.


SPOTLIGHTING: Accounting and Finance Services CTE Program
The Accounting and Financial Services program of study teaches CTE learners how to examine, analyze, and interpret financial records. Through this program of study, students will learn the skills necessary to perform financial services, prepare financial statements, interpret accounting records, give advice, or audit and evaluate statements prepared by others. This program of study will also introduce students to mathematical modeling tools.

Congratulations to the Crockett Band Students; Joel Sanchez, Leonbert Pare, Alonzo Cervantes, Mia Gonzalez, Lauryn Griffin, Marcus Moore, Joseph Tuggle, and Stephanie Gonzalez, who are state bound!
On Feb 2, and 3, 2024, Crockett Band competed in the UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest in Nacogdoches Texas. Crockett's woodwind octet performed a class I ensemble, Noches Del Caribe or Caribbean Nights by Gabriel Musella, and earned a superior rating of a 1, advancing them to state. Crockett Band had two students, Joel Sanchez and Leonbert Pare, who performed class I solos, memorized, each earning a superior rating of a 1, advancing to state.
Students will travel to the state competition in Round Rock, Texas at the end of May. In the meantime, you can hear them perform on March 9th at 11:30 AM at the Camp Street Blues Jam Festival, in Crockett Texas. Students will also perform their solos and ensemble on April 16th at the Crockett Spring Band Concert.


What is CTE Month?
Career and technical education (CTE) provides an important pathway to success for high school students and offers each student opportunities to personalize his or her education based on their career interests and unique learning needs.
We are going to take this month to SPOTLIGHT what Crockett ISD has to offer our high school students to prepare them for life after graduation.

Crockett Bulldogs took first Place at the Hudson invitational Tournament. Making a total of 12 Goals throughout 3 games and keeping a clean sheet throughout the tournament. Tournament MVPs go to Josue Ramirez #17 playing outstanding as a center Defensive Midfielder and Nathan Morales #10 scoring a total of 7 goals. Overall the team played outstanding. They will now get ready for district opening Friday, January 26 in Westwood. Girls playing at 5:00pm and Boys at 6:30pm.


Due to inclement weather, the District Varsity girls' and boys' basketball games have been rescheduled. The games will now take place at Trinity High School on Wednesday, January 17, with the girls' game starting at 5:00 PM and the boys' game at 6:30 PM.
