Ms. Nielsen's Life Skills - Applied Learning class has been putting in a lot of effort with class work and EOY testing, so it was decided a "staycation" would be more fun than a field trip. The day was filled with laughter and excitement, that included new games, water fun, and a surprise visit from a couple of chickens. Even Mrs. Leediker got in on the action when an enthusiastic student playfully sprayed her, inviting her to join in the fun!

Reminder that Crockett Elementary is having their Field Day tomorrow, May 22 at Driskell Stadium.
All students will start the day in their homeroom, where their teachers will take attendance. Lunch will be from 11-12. You may buy your child lunch from the concessions, bring them lunch or they may eat a school lunch, but you may not take them from the stadium for lunch. No food is allowed on the track or field, so you must eat in the stands or on the field behind the home stands. Parents are allowed to attend Field Day. While watching your students compete in the field events you may come onto the field. While watching your students run please remain seated in the stands.
Important Info:
● Dress Code: Please have your child dress in clothing appropriate to the weather. THe clothes should be comfortable and students should wear tennis shoes that are easy to run in.
● Injuries or sudden illness: The school nurse will be at the track to take care of any problems that may arise.
● Water: Students need to bring a water bottle to take to the track.
● Checking your student out early: If you wish to check your student out early please see your child’s teacher. You will need to let them know you are checking your student out, and sign the checkout form.
● Field Event Ribbons: We will pass field event ribbons out at the award ceremonies on the 29th. We have made this change so that students are not losing their ribbons as they travel station to station.
