Join us as we honor, celebrate, and reflect on the rich history, culture, and achievements of the Black community. All students, families, and community members are welcome.
Last night, the Crockett Lady Bulldogs Softball Team traveled to Apple Springs for their first official game of the season — and they came home with a 10–0 victory.
Alex Kane dominated in the circle, pitching the entire game while allowing just one hit, striking out 13, and walking only two. She also shined at the plate, going 3-for-3.
Strong offensive contributions came from:
Katherine Kane: 2-for-3
Akellah Whitting: 2-for-4 with a bases‑loaded double
Jasmine Diaz, Lexi Grimaldo, and Jill Diaz: each working crucial walks to keep the momentum going
The defense was locked in all night, committing just one error. Lauren Maitland played a standout game at first base, supported by a solid infield of Roma Galicia, Akellah Whitting, Katherine Kane, Alex Kane, and Yaya Aguilar, who caught an excellent game behind the plate.
Great job, Lady Bulldogs — what a way to kick off the season!
