CHS Athletes, Parents, and Guardians,
As we prepare to kick off the 2025 Crockett High School Volleyball season, please carefully review the following important information regarding tryouts.
TRYOUTS – Mandatory Attendance
All student-athletes interested in joining the Crockett Volleyball Program must attend tryouts on the following dates:
Friday, August 1, 2025
Morning Session: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Afternoon Session: 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Saturday, August 2, 2025
Single Session: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Athletes must be present at all sessions for full consideration. Please arrive early, wear proper volleyball attire, and bring water, knee pads, and any necessary gear.


Reminder Crockett ISD's Back to School Extravaganza is scheduled for August 7, 2025.





Reminder that Crockett High School Cheerleaders are hosting a Mini Cheer Camp, July 28 - 30, 2025. The cost is $30 a child, $25 for siblings. The event is at the Crockett Admin Gym from 9am - 1pm.


All students must be registered on AKTIVATE before they are allowed to practice or participate in any sport.
If you need help with the registration process, we will be holding an AKTIVATE Help Meeting on Tuesday, July 29 at 6:00 PM in the High School Gym.
Coach Tapia will be available to assist anyone who:
Has not yet signed up
Needs to register for more than one sport
You must complete your registration at www.aktivate.com to be eligible to play any sports for the upcoming school year. This is a mandatory requirement.

Practice will commence on Monday, July 16, at 6:00 AM. Please meet at the high school gym.
Parents please make sure that your child is signed up to Aktivate or they will not be able to start running.
July 17 at 6pm is a Parent Meeting.


This past week Crockett FFA members attended the State FFA Convention in Fort Worth, Texas. While at convention students attended leadership workshops, the state FFA rodeo, voted on state officers, and conducted business. Crockett FFA members had a very successful week with the following accomplishments…
Marcus Moore was recognized for winning the state contest in Star American, in agricultural placement with his application being submitted to nationals and a $1,000 scholarship.
Ayriel Parker and Jennifer Mendez made the final four in the state with their service learning project of Bulldog Buddies.
Mia Davis, Sherlyn Garcia, and Diana Gomez Mancilla made the final four in the state with their school-based enterprise project of Bulldog Rabbitry.
Crockett FFA had 14 members receive their Lonestar FFA degree. Hannah Bertrand, Kasey Braun, Jayah Cobbs, Mia Davis, Sherlyn Garcia, Mia Gonzalez, Jeremias Jimenez, Diana Gomez Mancilla, Justin Matthews, Mackenzie Mitchell, Jennifer Mendez, Ayriel Parker, and Aaron Bahena Villanueva.
Our very own Rhonda Kendrick earned her Honorary Lonestar FFA degree.
Crockett FFA also earned a gold rank on their National Chapter.
We are very proud of all of the accomplishments and can not wait to see what this school year brings.
