Mrs. Sample's Advanced Culinary class has been hard at work in the kitchen, crafting delicious pastries. They executed the recipe brilliantly and decided to unleash their creativity by experimenting with Cream Cheese and Raspberry baked pies.

Saturday, March 29, 2025 Crockett High School students competed at the UIL District Academic Meet in New Waverly. We had students competing in Number Sense, Spelling & Vocabulary, Calculator Applications, Headline Writing, Editorial Writing, Current Issues and Events, Social Studies, Mathematics, Speaking Events, Science, Feature Writing, and Ready-Writing. Our students showed up and worked hard and came home with some great medals.
GAME CHANGE - Crockett High Softball game with Onalaska that was to take place today has been moved back to Tuesday April 1st at 5pm in Onalaska. This is because their game last Friday was rained out and they are making it up today.
Crockett High School Concert Band Contest at Troup High School and will perform at around 1:20PM.

Crockett Varsity Baseball will be playing against Onalaska at Onalaska High School, April 1, 2025 at 6PM.
On Thursday, Crockett FFA had 7 teams compete in the largest CDE contest in the nation. The teams included Farm Business Management, Range and Pasture ID, Poultry, Nursery Landscape, Floriculture, Wool, Milk Quality and Veterinary Medicine. They represented Crockett well and are looking forward to area contest in 2 weeks!

SOFTBALL/BASEBALL GAME CHANGE:
Due to wet grounds in New Waverly, both softball and baseball games that are scheduled for today, March 28, will be moved to Madisonville with a start time of 12pm.
Crockett FFA Land Judging team competed at the Davy Crockett Trinity SWCD event today and placed 4th. Team members are Priscilla Ramirez, Jennifer Perez and Jerimiah Kellum. Congratulations!!
Crockett FFA Forestry team placed 1st at the Davy Crockett Trinity SWCD event today. Team members are (LtoR)Justin Matthews, Jennifer Mendez, Hannah Bertrand and Sherlyn Garcia. With today’s win, the team advances straight to the State finals. Congratulations and good luck at State.

Day 2 Varsity Boys track results
The Crockett Boys track team finished as District runner ups, scoring 169 points and falling just 8 points short of a tie with Coldspring for the District title. Trailing by 4 points going into the final race of the day. If Crockett could win the 4x400 relay they would share the District title, in what was the most exciting race of the day the boys fell 2 tenth of a second short of the win finishing 2nd to Coldspring in a photo finish.
