Parents of Crockett ISD students, we invite you to attend an annual symposium, "Empowered Families Conference: Navigating the Journey Together." put on by Partners Resource Network.
The symposium will occur from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Region 6 Education Service Center, on September 20, 2024. The Address is 3332 Montgomery Road, Huntsville, Texas 77340. During this time, you will have the opportunity to meet professionals and parents with children with disabilities.

Houston County Fair checks are available for pick up from the Crockett Agriculture Department on the following dates:
June 25th - 8am-10am and 1pm - 5pm
June 26th - 8am-11am and 1pm - 3pm

Crockett High School Drum Majors - Donnajean Colbert, Victoria Medel, and Field Captains - Alex Kane, Susan Martinez attended and excelled this past week at Stephen F Austin State University Military Drum Major Camp. The four leaders worked tirelessly from Sunday June 16th to Thursday June 20th, learning skills that they will bring back to Crockett to lead the HS military marching band.
Parents and directors attended a skills demonstration, march off, and squad competition on Thursday, where Donnajean Colbert led her squad, as lead drum major, to 1st place victory.
Crockett High School Band will meet for summer band uniform fitting and music rehearsal on July 22nd and 23rd. Summer band marching practice will kick off on the week of July 29th. A detailed schedule will be emailed to the students and will be posted on the Crockett ISD Facebook page in July.







***UPDATED SCHOOL CALENDAR***

The Crockett National Honor Society dedicated some of their precious summer time to ensure that certain city streets were kept clean.

Our grand finale at Cheer Camp wrapped up with a pizza party! A massive shoutout to Dominos for fueling our cheerleaders with some cheesy goodness on our last day.


UCA Varsity Cheer Home Camp is going on this week at Crockett High School. We would like to send out a HUGE shout out to Whataburger for providing the meal today for the cheerleaders.

Way to Go Crockett High School Band! Go for the Gold!
Our soloist, Leonbert Pare, flutist, earned a 1st division/ Gold Medal on his solo, Schuman's Three Romances. Soloist, Joel Sanchez, percussionist earned 2nd division / silver medal on his solo, And the Kitchen sink. Our Octet Ensemble, Leonbert Pare -flute, Alonzo Cervantes -flute, Joel Sanchez - percussion, Joseph Tuggle -tenor sax, Marcus Moore - bassoon, Mia Gonzalez - clarinet, Lauryn Griffin -clarinet, and Stephanie Gonzalez - bari sax; earned a 1st division on Noches Del Carribe. We even got to meet the composer Gabriel Musella. Gabriel Musella wrote the piece for a retiring oboist in the Houston Balet Orchestra. We are the 1st high school to perform this piece and at the state level.
