The Crockett Softball team is participating in the New Summerfield tournament, showcasing commendable performances. On Thursday, February 29, the team secured victories against LaPoyner with a 5-1 score and Apple Springs with a dominant 14-0 score. Today, on March 1, the team triumphed over West Rusk with a notable 6-2 win and is scheduled to compete against the host team, New Summerfield.
The tournament will continue on Saturday, March 2, with a match against Arp at 2 p.m. Noteworthy individual performances from Alex Kane, Marissa Allison, Julia Tapia, Anaya Alexander, and Rachel Ham, as well as the whole team coming together to create a strong collective effort.
Congratulations on a job well done, girls!
2024- 2025 School Calendar
Crockett Varsity Baseball game scheduled for Friday, 3/1/24, will be against Lovelady instead of Lapoynor. The game will be held at Lovelady High School at 6PM.
*Crockett JV Baseball is still playing Lapoynor today (2/29/24) at 4:30PM at Crockett High School.
Crockett FFA members placed third place today in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo tour guiding competition!
The Crockett ISD telephone system has successfully undergone a maintenance update, and the number 936-544-2125 is now operational. We appreciate your patience during this process.
Attention High School Parents/Students, our next Accelerated Instruction Day is March 1st. All 9th and 10th grade students along with other grade level students taking the End of Course exams will need to be in attendance. Students who are working on regaining their credits will also need to be in attendance.
Crockett FFA members that are apart of the Bulldog Blooms program attended a floral build-off today. Two of them made it to the finals placing in the top-20!
Crockett High School parking lot update, the front parking lot has been completed, and now we will start on the back parking lot. With that being said, on February 28 (tomorrow), so here is what needs to happen:
* The student drop will resume to the front parking lot of the high school
* Students that drive will need to park at the stadium parking lot until further notice.
Crockett ISD is still undergoing maintenance on its telephone system. However, a temporary contact number, 936-243-6625, has been established for you to communicate with the campuses during this period.

Mandatory Parent & Cheer/Mascot Candidate meeting, Wednesday, February 28 at 5PM in the High School Commons Area. You must be present with a parent to be able to try-out. Try-Outs will be March 8 in the High School Gym at 10AM.

The Crockett FFA members (31 students) attended the Prairie View A&M CDE invitational competition held February 15, 2024. Competitions in Poultry, Milk Quality, Floriculture, Nursery Landscape, FBM, Entomology, Land, and Vet Med. All represented our school with their placings.

Attention Seniors!
It is time to order senior shirts!! Your dues must be paid by Thursday, February 22nd. If your dues are not paid by this date, you will not receive your shirt. Parents and community members, if you would like a senior shirt as well, they are $20 and can be paid at the front office of the High School. Seniors, dues can be paid in the front office with Mrs. Seale.
