Crockett Jr. High Volleyball will be playing New Waverly at New Waverly Jr. High School, Monday, September 16, 2024 at 4:30 PM.
This week at Crockett Jr. High Careers Class, students met Officer Ballard and Officer Thomas from the Houston County Sheriff’s Department, learning about law enforcement careers, certification requirements, and becoming a police officer. They also met Crockett graduate Jason Frizzell, Chief of the fire department, who shared insights on becoming a firefighter, including qualifications and emergency response procedures. The students had an enriching experience on both days.
At our Professional Learning Day, Crockett Jr. High and High School staff learned new strategies to use with their students.
Crockett ISD students will have a Student Holiday on Friday, September 13, 2024.
Attention Parents
For the safety and security of all bulldog fans, students PK-8th grade must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and remain seated in the stands.
Crockett Jr. High Football will be playing New Waverly, Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 5PM, in Driskell Stadium.
Our Crockett Girls Cross Country will be competing at the Region 3 Preview in Huntsville this Saturday, September 7, 2024.

The kids learned so much from the different careers and experiences.
The FFA Greenhand Camp for 8th to 12th graders was held today at Crockett Jr. High School.

Congratulations are in order for the Crockett Junior High Girls Volleyball team. Yesterday on September 5, 2024, the junior high girls played Coldspring Junior High.
The 8th grade A team won both sets 25-25
The 8th grade B team won both sets 25-25
The 7th grade B team won both sets 25-25
The 7th grade A team split the set and ended up falling short in the 3rd set
