Crockett High School students in Intro to Business, Marketing, and Finance participated in the Marshmallow Tower challenge! As they explored the concept of business ownership, students had the option to work individually (Sole Proprietorship) or collaborate with others (Partnership or Corporation) to construct the tallest tower possible. The competition was challenging, yet one team succeeded in building an impressive tower that reached a height of 44 3/8 inches!

What an amazing week to be apart of career class at the Junior High. This week we had the pleasure of having some amazing guest speakers.

The kids learned so much from the different careers and experiences.
The FFA Greenhand Camp for 8th to 12th graders was held today at Crockett Jr. High School.
Congratulations to the JV and Varsity girls' cross country teams for their outstanding performance at Salmon Lake in Grapeland, hosted by Latexo. Every girl showed great determination and achieved personal record times. Notably, Melissa Medina secured 9th place in the JV category. Both the JV and Varsity teams are in a good position and making progress. A special shoutout to all the parents who support the girls' cross country team.
Don't miss the next meet this Saturday at the Sam Houston Regional preview meet at 8 am.
Crockett FFA is scheduled to have a District Meeting in Onalaska on Monday, September 9, 2024, at 4 PM.
Crockett JV Volleyball will be competing in the Groveton Tournament, Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Groveton High School.
Congratulations are in order for the Crockett Junior High Girls Volleyball team. Yesterday on September 5, 2024, the junior high girls played Coldspring Junior High.
The 8th grade A team won both sets 25-25
The 8th grade B team won both sets 25-25
The 7th grade B team won both sets 25-25
The 7th grade A team split the set and ended up falling short in the 3rd set

Parking: Overflow parking and shuttle service will be at The MET Church, 13000 Jones Road, Houston, TX 77070, in the main auditorium parking lot located off Mills Road. (This is about 5 minutes from our campus.)
Please drive to campus to look for an open parking spot. If an open parking spot is not available, please drop off your passengers on campus and proceed to The MET Church. A shuttle service will drop you off on campus. Shuttle service will run throughout the night, beginning at 6:30 p.m., and will return you back to your car until 10 p.m.

We will sell grilled hamburgers, and hotdogs in our concession stand along with traditional concessions food.
We will also have a Chick fil-A food truck and a shaved ice truck on campus.
